MANGA
Tokyo Babylon was born in 1990 and published in the manga magazine South from 1991 'til 1994 and compiled in seven books by Shinshokan Inc. For more infornation, find out CLAMP info.

ANIME
Tokyo Babylon was fit to anime as two OVAs (Original Video Animation) in 1992. Directed by Kouichi Chiaki, chara designs adaptation by Kumiko Takahashi based in Apapa's original designs, who in its turn collaborated in clothes desings. Both OVas have stories created for the anime, centered in Subaru's works and less in the main story of TB manga.
Second OVA (re-wrote by Hiroaki Shinno) has a more elaborated story. CLAMP believe that it was the best OVA of them.

MOVIE
It also exists a real person film called Tokyo Babylon 1999 wrote and directed by Yuuji Iida. The story is placed five years later the end of Tokyo Bbaylon, with a 21-years-old Subaru having to investigate Yuukichi Kaneyama's mysterious death, an onmyoji (exorcist) involved into some kind of plot about twelve teens with psychic powers.
