CLAMP
CLAMP began as eleven members from their manga club while High School in Kansai,
and they were seven when they decided to work making comics: Tamayo
Akiyama, Mokona Apapa, Satsuki Igarashi, Mick Nekoi, Nanase Ohkawa, Nanao Sei
and Leeza Sei. Tamayo Akiyama left near 1990, after her colaboration in Derayd
and Cluster; since then she worked in this second title. Nanao & Leeza Sei
have dissappeared of manga. The current four members are Nanase Ohkawa
(05/02/1967) team leader, scriptwriter and sometimes works with the general
design; Mokona Apapa (06/16/1968), which name is a nick, looks after the
artistic side and drawing; Mick Nekoi (01/21/1969) is the artistic directress in
charge and she works with layouts, ink, SDs, and all that is necessary; and
Satsuki Igarashi (02/08/1969) looks after all Ohkawa doesn't do, and she's also
the official cooker and heading agent.
The most famous members are Ohkawa and Apapa, but CLAMP say that they works like
a whole, and they have similar ages, live in Tokyo and like videogames and
eating. They love manga and their job; they are truthly work-addicted. That's
the main reason why they still keep an amazing production rythm.
There isn't very much about them. They don't use to appear in Comikets or
another cons nowadays, and they keep a little of mystery in all their private
life things.
